Weekly Round Up
I’ve decided to start participating in the Weekly Round Up. Tamara does it on Fridays but Saturday is a better day for me to reflect. You know me, always going to break the rules.
- List two things that happened in the last week you are truly thankful for. (Aside from your family, Bible, God, we know how thankful for those you already are)
Chris has started walking with me. I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying this time together. We hardly ever get enough time to talk to each other and this is a great way to improve our relationship and our bodies at the same time.
On my walk, I have noticed the smell of honeysuckle and jasmine. Oh my! It is simply luxurious. I am astounded at the incredible scents that God has created. So glad that I took the time to notice such a simple thing.
- Share something that you worked on that you have been putting off.
I worked on a routine for our day and implementing it. It is a work in progress but definitely one that I had been putting off because I tend to resist boundaries. But they are so needed in our life. Those boundaries actually give us more freedom. I need to remember that.
- Did you meet any new people on or offline?
Not really. I did spend some time chatting with some women from the homeschool co-op that I don’t normally get a chance to talk to though. Oh, I have started visiting redpearls blog. I really like what I am reading there.
- Share a struggle that you over came this week
The biggest struggle that I am overcoming is how I tend to give up, especially if I have what I perceive to be a compromise or a failure. So, I have decided to become a high raw vegan. Formerly, if I stumbled, I would have quit. Now, I just embrace the stumbles as part of the journey. I am still moving forward and that is what is important. The only way I can fail is if I give up totally. I am not going to do that.
~~ Grace and Peace ~~
